My Cardio Breakthrough!

I don’t know about you, but some days I just don’t want to be stuck on a piece of cardio equipment staring at the time as it ticks by! I itch for something else; something that will help me gain that edge and push through a plateau.

And of course, skipping my cardio is simply not an option. So, with the aforementioned thought in my mind, I have provided a workout that will incorporate some “old school” or as I prefer to call them, classic workout movements. This circuit will turn your mundane cardio into a high intensity, fat burning scorcher! I am confident that mixing things up and changing our routines are exactly what our bodies and minds need the most.

Amy Jo’s Cardio Breakthrough Workout (35 – 45 minutes Depending on your fitness level)

*To increase energy levels and fat burning, I either take 1 scoop of Thermovex or 1 scoop of FEM-FIRE along with 1 scoop of BCAA Sport in 12oz of cold water, 20-30 minutes before I start!

Jump Rope x 100 Skips

Alternating Lunge Jumps x 40

Squat Jumps x 20

Jump Rope x 100 Skips

Mountain Climbers x 100

REPEAT X 2

WALK RECOVER x 2 minutes

Jump Rope High Knees x 50

Plie Jumping Jacks x 20

180 Squat Jump Turns x 10 total back & forth (Feet Hip Width, Squat jump and Turn in the air, completing a 180)

Jump Rope High Knees x 50

Sumo Burpees (no push-up, Wide feet entire exercise) x 10

Mountain Climbers x 100

REPEAT x 2
